I gave it the bold and obvious masthead of Contents which I placed in the convenctional place (at the top). It follows the colour scheme that I have which is blue, yellow and black. I chose this color scheme as it relates to the school colours and also becuase these are quite sophisticated which I find suitable for the audience I am writing for (13-18).
I used yellow bold typephase for the subheadings as they clearly stand out. The smaller text underneath each article gives a small amount of information that lets the reader know what the story is about without giving out too much information.
I used the images so that the audience could see what I was talking about as well as just reading about it. This makes it more interesting for them and breaks the text up a bit.
I put the images on at an angle so that it made them stand out slightly and makes the page more "fun" as it has been created for a teenage age group.
I wrote the page numbers over the top of the image so that the reader can instantly find out what page the story they want to read about is on.
