FINAL DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD

As you can see from my original double page spread I needed to do a lot of improvements and with my feedback I have made the appropriate alterations:

1. Changing the position of images - this needed to be done as before all my images were in the middle making it in reality hard to see all the images as they wouldn't be able to be fully seen due to where the magazine would be joined in the middle. So I decided to separate them and re size and change the angle of some of them so that then fitted nicely around the text without looking too cramped or too empty.

2. Changing the title sizes - from my feedback I discovered that the titles were once again different sizes so I altered them so they were all the same size by putting them next to each other and comparing. I did this as it makes my magazine more professional.

3. Altered the Wimoway Image - Originally it was in the centre and quite large, from my feedback I found that it wasn't very professional looking so I made it smaller and moved it to the left page then mirrored it to the other side so it gave a better effect.

4. Added the IM logo - Personally I found that the background at the top seemed a bit empty so I added a faded picture of the IM logo as it gave the page more of a identity as the reader can see that it clearly is from IM magazine.

5. Reorderd the Text - I changed this as my feedback suggested me moving the images so I altered the text to go with it making the most of the space.

FINAL FRONT COVER

I have altered my front cover after receiving feedback. This is what I changed:

1. I changed the "Wimoways ways" because I was told it wasn't very clear so I cut it out from it's background and added a red shadow, this also ties into the colour scheme within my magazine.

2. I moved and altered the stories as they weren't very clear and also I found from my feedback that the titles weren't actually the same size so I altered them so they were, once again adding the red shadowing so that it tied in with the colour scheme.

3. I altered the the partition between the main photo and the magazine name as it seemed very plain so I added the shadow effect again.

FINAL CONTENTS

I have made some amendments to my product after receiving feedback. This is what I have changed:
1. I added the competition box to my contents page as I found from my feedback that this page was quite empty and the space could be used more efficiently. Also I added the faded in question mark and competition to the left side of the page as these parts in particular were empty.
2. I was told that not all my fonts where the same size so I altered them so they were to make it seem more professional.
3. From my feedback I found that the size and position of "pages 2 and 3" where in a place where they obscured the picture and were hard to read so I moved it and made it slightly smaller.
4. Originally I had only one "Wimoway" across the pole in the main image but decided that it looked better when I placed 2 more on after experimenting in fireworks.

Mock ups for final idea

I created these a while ago but haven't posted them until now. I made these the same time I did my original lot for my final project. I decided that the others where better because of layout and I preferred the other cover because it seemed more dramatic with the black and white picture.

Feedback for my final project

Front Cover - the front cover is mainly ok but the text at the bottom could be altered to make it more clear as well as altering the stories so that the text is all the same size. If you could do something to make them stand out more that would make it look more professional. I like the main image as it's a good size.

Contents Page - I like how it's laid out but the space could be used better as it seems a bit empty by maybe adding some images also the "pages 2 and 3" isn't very clear so if that could be altered that would improve it.

Double Page Spread - This is a place for a lot of improvement. The images in the centre may not be visible in reality due to the fold in the page so you need to move where your images are. Also you need to make sure that all the sub headings are the same size so that the magazine looks more professional. However I like the colour scheme and the use of the arrows on the pages.
